A group of Scottish catholic schoolgirls go to the big city to take part in a national choir competition. The Sopranos of the choir decide to use this opportunity to let loose and enjoy the freedom of being in a big city. They get themselves into all sorts of troubles that reveal how much of life they are still to learn about. Far more important than the competition, the girls are anxious to get back home town as a group of submariners are arriving from a nuclear sub....
