The Day in the Life of Me! by Rhianne Sutherland
It was a few days after my 4th birthday when we set off in the car to a farm. I was really excited because I was going to get a new dog! He had been born just two weeks ago and was pure white. It was quite strange for a German Shepherd! When we arrived I got to go and see all the other animals at the farm! My mum and dad appeared not long after I had gone to see the ducks. They said we had to go and take the puppy home! I couldn't wait to see him! On the way home we had to think of a name for him! The two names we thought of were Snow and Ice.
It took us only 20 minutes to decide on a name and it was my choice. I chose Ice. We took a few pictures of him when we went home. We had bought new food and water bowls and a collar and lead! He soon settled in to his new bed. He always wanted our attention. When I had to go to bed I didn't want to because I wouldn’t have been with Ice!
