I liked it, it had good depth of character for such a short story. I disagree with one of the other comments, who's to say that peple in a coma don't think like that?
The ending was nice and nearly made a grumpy glaswiegen smile (almost!).
Well, it was okay (and loads better than I'll ever be able to do), but I didn't really get it. Is there supposed to be some "message" here? Because, if there is, then I am not getting it, and if there isn't, then all the waffle about "Marianne? Marianne who? I am not her..." doesn't make much sense and is kinda pointless. It wasn't a story that could really get me interested.
Incredible story and very current - in a very short time, the author manages to create two strong central characters. The end is very moving. This is really a case of small but perfect - a fantastic short story!

Brilliant story!
I wasn't sure if I was going to like this when I started reading, but by the end I was totally gripped - amazing conclusion, really moving.
