Review:
I felt that this was a gripping read and was easy to get into. After the first three pages I was so into the book that I was imagining I was really there, in the Scottish highlands, with John. I was compelled to read more and more. Sometimes I would stay up late at night reading it. This was a fast running book and when I did have to stop, it was always just before something exciting happened. I feel that this book could have been tightened up now and then, but overall it was a firstclass book. I believe that this book is more suited to teenagers and young adults but I think I would have enjoyed it all the same even if I was still in the primary school. My favourite part was when James Jauncey introduced a new charecter, Lila. She is willing to help John and Ninian through their tough journey. I liked how he successfully managed to add another character without upsetting the storyline. It also made this book more interesting. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommened to anyone in high school or really anyone who loves a good thriller.
