Review:
The Witness, by James Jauncey, is an action thriller set in the Scottish Highlands. When a teenage boy witnesses a violent massacre in a town called Blackriggs, he must escape the soldiers and try to meet up with his dad. He also finds a small boy in the ruins, who won't even tell John his name.
An excellent, well-written story that keeps the reader guessing until the very end, I think this book has a strong chance of winning the BRAW competition.
