Review:
I think the Robe of Skulls by Vivian French should win because its a very good and funny story, even my mum read it and said the book was BRILLIANT. This book is about an evil witch called Lady Lamorna who wants a dress made of skulls, velvet, webs, ivy and petticoats. So she calls Marlon the bat and he orders it for her but then when she looks in her chest, she has no gold to pay for the the dress. So Lady Lamorna and her funny servant who is a troll called Gubble go on a quest to get the gold but she meets a few people along the way who can’t be trusted. There are a lot of characters in the book but my favourite one is Lady Lamorna because she is evil and bossy like my dad. She has long white hair with dark evil eyes, is very pale and skinny. If Lady Lamorna wants something but doesn’t have it she will do anything to get it. I hope the Robe of Skulls will win because its an interesting and funny book and has good description and EXCELLENT illustration. If you read this book I think you would really like the book and I hope you enjoyed my report.
