Review:
I really enjoyed this book because it had mystery, friendship and love all in one story.
The Reckoning is about a boy called Fin, as he is walking by a bridge a girl suddenly falls, her name is Charlotte Svensson. The book is all about Fin trying to find out how Charlotte died, as he tries to figure this out it leads him to his long lost sister Maia.
My favourite part of the book is the last ten chapters, because they reveal a lot and there’s a lot of suspense.
My favourite character is Poacher. I like him because no matter what he was doing he would always help Fin, or listen to him, so he was a true friend.
My least favourite part of the book is the start because it's sad as the girl that was shoved off the bridge was Maia's best friend. Also not much happens in the middle of the book. It was quite good at the start then it tailed off in the middle, and then picked up again in the last few chapters.
Having read this book I would like to read some more of James Jaunceys books.
