Review:
The Reckoning, by James Jauncy, strings through the life of the young man, Fin Carpenter. Suffering abuse from his crippled ather, and being deserted by his beloved sister, Fin has been forced to spend part of his life, on the small seal island, with his friend, Poacher. But something strange is happening on Seal Island. When Fin is walking along the bay, through the swirling mists, he hears a cry. And there he finds a dying girl. The police think it was suicide, but Fin doesn't. He thinks she was pushed. A simple story, with a rather original plotline, but not one that hasn't been done before. The book seemed to loose grasp of my intrest from time to time, and feel like I was reading a blank page. But still, good for readers who enjoy a little mystery.
