Review:
The Reckoning was a very good novel. It had interesting, very different themes and a convincing setting. The characters were believable and easy to relate to. The relationships between characters were also convincing, particularly the one between the main character, Fin and his sister. The novel was, like James Jauncey’s other novel The Witness, fast-paced. However, unlike the witness, it was paced slower, with more time to explore characters and relationships. Overall, The Reckoning was an excellent novel.
