Review:
The Eleventh Orphan is by Joan Lingard. It is a mysterious and exciting book. I thought it was a very good book because I thought the characters were very good. My favourite character is Ivy she is nasty to Elfie but she secretly likes Elfie. It is about a little girl called Elfie. She is an orphan but one night a policeman called constable O’Dowd and takes her to a pub called the Pig and Whistle and there she meets Ma and Pa Bigsby. Ma and Pa Bigsby already have 10 other orphans. I would give it 9 out of 10 stars. I am not going to tell you any more because you have to read it. I couldn’t put it down it was so good.
