Review:
The Eleventh Orphan is a bout a girl called Elfie who lived on the street until she was adopted by Mr and Mrs Bigsvy. They already have adopted ten children who they teach and look after. She carries a bag which contains all she has left from her real family.
Elfie is searching for her family and learns many different things along the way. Other characters in the story include Joe, whom she likes, Ivy whom she does not like and Ma and Pa Bigsby who help her and teach her.
It is a wonderful adventure story with some mysteries along the way and I enjoyed the book thoroughly. I would recommend this book to all children of eight years and over.
