Review:
Mr and Mrs Bigsby,also known as Ma and Pa Bigsby are owners of the Pig and Whistle pub,look after orphans. The most they have is 10 at a time and when Constable O'Dowd brings them Elfie, an orphan born in an orphanage, they are reluctant to accept her. But there is something special about Elfie with her mysterious bag full of all her mothers possesions that Elfie guards with her life!Together all the family,except the jealous Ivy, and try to help Elfie find her long-lost father! I thought it was an exciting novel with plenty of emotion and entertainment. I really enjoyed it. Great for children of all ages.
