Review:
The Eleventh Orphan by Joan Lingard is a fantastic book about an eleven year old girl called Elfie. In this great book Elfie finds herself taken in by Mr and Mrs Bigsby, who are an old couple which already look after ten orphans. Why does Elfie carry around a bag which contains a small watercolor of the pig and whistle? The bag contains items which belonged to her mother and that may help her to find her father. In this adventure Elfie finds herself in a fight and locked in the Duguid's house. With two hundred and thirty tree pages it is definitely a book worth reading this summer
