Review:
This book is about a child called Elfie who is on a quest to find her Dad. One day Elfie turned up at the Pig and Whistle. So Ma and Pa Bigsby keptherr at there orphanage. Elfie weirdly has a bag that inside there is a painting of the Pig and Whistle. How weird! She also has a few other things like a ring and a golden locket. So will Elfie find her dad or not? The main characters are Joe, Elfie's best friend, Elfie the main character, Ma and Pa Bigsby, Elfie's foster parents. I would give this book to an 8-11year old because it's a long book and has some hard words. I would give this book 8 out of 10 because the beginning was a bit boring. My favourite bit was when Elfie escaped at night and walked along the streets alone. Some people invited her in and kept her, but Elfie escaped and went back to the Pig and Whistle. I also liked how descriptive it was, it described where they were and the character in very good description
