Review:
I like the Eleventh Orphan because it is a very adventurous and sad story. When I first herd the story I thought I would not enjoy it but when we got further into the story I realised I did enjoy it. One of my favourite parts of the story was when Elfie went into Mr and Mrs Duguid’s house. Elfie felt really scared. My other favourite part of the story was when Elfie got to meet her father. When Elfie met her dad he asked her to live with him. She asked Ma and Pa Bigsby and all her friends at the pig whether she should go and they all said it was up to her. In the end she decided to stay at the Pig. Elfie didn’t want to leave the Pig because she would miss all her friends and adopted family. She would also miss Florrie and Dowdy’s wedding. The mark I would give Joan Lingard is 10/10 because it is a good read and it is also really good to sit and listen to.
