Review:
All in all it was the best book out of the three nominated for this category. It was about a twelve year old boy called Robbie who was angry and frustrated about his father’s (called Michael)’s work at an animal research institute. He finds out the horrifying truth about himself when he visits Joe one of the workers at the institute. He sees special cats called Baldur and Freya. He collapses in shock about what he can see from the cat’s eyes and he finds out that he along with the two cats there he also carry’s the Hox gene. He discovers the whole truth about his actual mother when he goes to Callandar in Scotland. He visits Stella Loomes ho tells him the whole story. He then meets a boy called Callum who is homeless and he gives him tips on how to survive out in the open. It is a trully great book and I believe it should win the award.
