Review:
The story is set in the Scottish Borders at a small village where the main character Helen Strang lives with her younger sister Nicola and Mum and Dad. The story starts off with a young centaur called Yann coming to Helen in need of her to heal a large gash on his hind leg and before she knows it she is in the thick of the plot to find a magical book that has the answers to everything but up against them is the Master of the Maze who will do anything to get to the book first! I thought it started a bit too quickly jumping straight into the plot but then it slowed down filling your mind with action and excitement and fills the room with a couple of loose giggles and ticks most of the boxe on my star chart!
