Dino Egg by Charlie James is a hilariously funny book for readers of 7-9 years. Meet the Finn family. There's Mum, Dad, Stacey, Ned, and Bill. They are not your normal family, especially not when Ned and his little brother Bill discover a dinosaur egg in their kitchen! As Bill's big brother, Ned thinks it is a terrible idea to keep a dinosaur a secret from Mum but of course nobody really believes dinosaurs still exist... I think Dino Egg was a really funny book. My favourite part was when it was Ned's first day back at school and he has to sit beside his worst enemy! I liked the way the writer has written the book so it's like you can actually put yourself in Ned's shoes but I think that it was a little bit too easy for me to read. I liked Dino Egg but I don't think I would have chosen to read it myself.
