Review:
Dino Egg is a book I read for the Scottish Royal Mail Book Awards, and this is my report of it. It was a good book about a family who I think lived in Scotland. My favourite character was the dinosaur, Lucky. He was funny, clever and cheerful. I also liked Stacy the older sister, because she's a bit like my sister, a bit bossy! My least favourite character was Joe Blagg, who was the bully at school. He was mean, snooty, grumpy, rude and selfish, and I'm glad I'm not Ned, who was forced to be his buddy. I'm not sure if it was set in Scotland or England but part of it was set at Loch Ness, and I really liked this part. My favourite parts were probably when Lucky tried out some tongue twisters and when he pumped in the class. I also liked the bit when Stacy found out. It was funny when Ned kept calling her a bossy older sister when she called herself 'The Boss'. I liked Dino Egg, but I don't think it would be my choice for the Scottish Royal Mail Book Awards because I also liked one of the other books.
