Review:
I really enjoyed this book because the characters were interesting and funny. I couldn't wait to read the book every day because it was so exciting. My favourite character was Lucky the dinosaur because he was really cute and smart. The story is about two boys called Ned and Bill who find an egg with a kiss mark on it in an eggcup. When it hatches it turns out to be a dinosaur. The boys hide it in lots of different places to keep it a secret. One day the boys go into the head teacher’s office and he explains to them that a man called Amor Ron wants Ned to go into a swimming contest in Loch Ness but Ned doesn’t know how to swim. On the day of the contest Lucky helps Ned to swim in the race and they win but Joe, a bully at Bill and Ned’s school, isn’t very happy about it. In the end Lucky meets his dinosaur cousins and stays with them in Loch. I am going to vote for this book because it was so good and I think that both boys and girls aged about 8 or 9 would enjoy it.
