Dark Isle is one of the best books I have ever came across. It is terrifying but funny at the same time. I would certainly recommend this book to another pupil in my class , I have a strong feeling they would like it. I feel this book is aimed at primary and high school aged children. Dark Isle is very exciting I enjoyed every minute of it. Every night before I went to bed I picked up Dark isle and read 2 chapters most nights I wanted to read on and even though I was so sleepy I sometimes fell asleep with the book on my face. I don't have a favourite part of the book because it is all wonderful. There are no doubts about Dark isle it is just a great book. It has fantastic vocabulary. The writer used brilliant describing words that really made a great picture in my head and it is definitely a page turner. I would like to see another book similar to Dark Isle from DA Nelson.
