Review:
The Dark Isle 1\10\08 I greatly enjoyed reading the Dark Isle as it was action packed and makes a brilliant picture in your head. Once I put the book down I had to pick it right back up again! The best part of the story was when Morag kills Devilish by using the eye of Lornish. The detail in the book is so high that it makes it almost impossible to forget every word. The vocabulary varies from different levels which makes the book readable by younger age groups as well as older age groups.I feel this novel definitely reaches the standard that I feel it should as a fantasy novel. As I read this book I realised that when the author wrote the book it seemed a great deal of thought had been put into the pages. This makes the book much more interesting for the reader. After reading this marvellous book it gave me an excelling amount of ideas for the writing I had the following week at school. Also the suspense in the book made me unable to do anything else other than turn the next page with my eyes wide open.
