Review:
Dark Isle Dark Isle by D A Nelson is a good book about a girl called Morag that has cruel foster parents. If she does one thing wrong she gets thrown in to her parents’ dark cellar and when she forgets to do the dishes she gets thrown into the cellar where she meets Aldiss, a talking rat and Bertie the dodo. This is the chance for her to run away with Aldiss and Bertie and go on a mission to save Shona the dragon that was turned to stone by the Evil Warlock Devlish. But can Bertie and Aldiss stop bickering long enough to succeed in their mission? They soon find Shona and save her from the curse. Later on in the story they meet Henry a talking medallion. Will he help them on their way or will he be no help at all? If you want to know more read the book. You will really like it. It is quite a big book but it is definitely worth reading. I would recommend this book to children and adults. I give it 10 out of 10. I will definitely vote for it.
