Bobby Berlin's family life is far from perfect. His mother's dead and his father, Gordon, has no time for him. That is, until something happens that leaves Gordon convinced it's 1977 and his name is Dodd Pollen. Bobby struggles to deal with this character who is the complete opposite of his father. He enlists the help of his best friend Mary and her gypsy grandmother, but it may be out of their control. Gordon knew something and now that something is coming true and the entire east coast of Scotland faces peril. Dodd, however, is fixated on getting to Dundee and has no idea what the big secret is. Bobby and Mary are determined to look after him, but Dodd is dangerously violent and Gordon's prediction may not be the only disaster coming their way... Cleverly written with an excellent conclusion, a book for those who hate loose ends.
