13 Books About Teens Facing Depression

In the toughest time, know that you're not alone

In years past, depression, suicide and mental health were matters spoken of in hushed tones, or not at all. This had (understandably!) damaging consequences for many. But recently there's been a push to bring these matters out into the open, to remove the stigma and start conversations. The world of YA fiction has seen an explosion of novels featuring teens facing their darkest moments, grappling with powerful demons, and making difficult, life-changing decisions that impact not only themselves, but those closest to them as well. These are just a few of the excellent books on offer.
