I have always lived in Edinburgh. I also studied at Edinburgh University gaining an MA Honours (English and General Arts) I wrote for Chambers and became an English teacher after completing a PGCE at Moray House. My writing career has only bloomed in the last 18 months and I am enjoying it very much. I have three sons and a husband. I am happily married and love family life. My Princess Poppy books sum me up: I love flowers, princesses and good deeds.

I have worked on the Princess Poppy stories for many years and published the first in November 2003.

Dialogue, register, plot, character, theme, pace. English teacher skills used to discuss genre and the novel as a literary vehicle. Also, general discussion about publishing and getting published. Group tasks, final presentations and discussions.
