Maggie Craig's headshot

I write Scottish historical fiction and non-fiction. My family saga novels are set in my native Glasgow and Clydebank. My historical novels are set in Edinburgh and my historical non-fiction deals with the Jacobites of 1745 and the Scottish Radicals of 1820.

As a speaker, I've appeared at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, Aye Write!, Wigtown, and in many of Scotland's libraries. I have served two terms as a committee member of the Society of Authors in Scotland.
