Join us for a fun romp through history as a rather resourceful heroine takes on the Romans in Britain.

This story tells of Roodica the Rude's adventure as she exacts her crafty revenge on the occupying Romans for 'stealing the river' by daming it up.

Written by a former teacher, this book is suitable for lower to middle primary level and is expected to be useful for engaging reluctant readers as well.

Although this is the third in a series*, the story functions well as a standalone book.

We will discuss the book, the series, and generate ideas for use in class.
