Run a Multi-Arts project

Kid with hammer for multi-arts projectINTRODUCTION

Have you ever wanted to bring in professional artists to work with your pupils on a project?

Colin Monteith and Selina Corrigan from Woodside Primary, together with our Online Teacher in Residence Lucy Young, brought in artists and other professionals to work with their pupils on research and creative writing projects in Aberdeen, and the materials below are designed to help you do the same.

Colin and Selina worked with a number of cultural partners, co-ordinated by the reading development charity The Reading Bus.

Looking at two seperate projects, The Woodcarvers of King's College Chapel, and Pearl Tae The Grumphies, these CPD resources will take you through the benefits of working with artists and other partners to deliver fun and challenging cross-curricular arts projects.
