Bookbug in Argyll and Bute is co-ordinated by the Library Service.
Bookbug Pack Gifting
Bookbug Baby packs are gifted by Health Visitors.
Bookbug Toddler packs are gifted via the Health Visitor or MMR vaccination.
Bookbug Pirate packs are gifted via early years settings.
Libraries hold stocks of the baby and toddler packs for families who have missed out for any reason.
Bookbug’s Library Challenge
Bookbug’s Library Challenge is run in all libraries across Argyll and Bute. Sign your child up for free today by visiting your local library, so that they can begin to collect their special stickers and certificates!
Bookbug Sessions
Bookbug Sessions are held in most mainland branch libraries. We have 16 trained Bookbug Sessions Leaders in Argyll and Bute and regular sessions take place in the following locations:

Dunoon
Helensburgh & Lomond
Bute
Islay & Jura
Lochgilphead
Tarbert
Campbeltown

Gaelic Bookbug Sessions
Gaelic Bookbug Sessions are currently being held in the Toy Library at The Undercroft at Glencruitten Church Centre. The session runs every Monday from 10am until 12pm.
