Ruth Thomas: other work

I’ve had many short stories commissioned by and broadcast on BBC Radio (most recently a story about Elvis Presley, on Radio 4 in February 2010). I’ve also appeared as a guest on radio arts programmes (The Verb, BBC Radio 3, The Book Café, BBC Radio Scotland) and have broadcast my own work (most recently, in January 2010, an essay on BBC Radio 3 on Chekhov’s short stories.) I’ve had reviews and articles published in various newspapers including The Guardian, The Scotsman and The List; and short stories have been published over the years in publications such as New Writing Scotland, The Edinburgh Review, The Macallan Anthology, Rebel Inc, Chapman etc. My work has also appeared on the literary website textualities.com
