Reading Rich
The Reading Rich project was funded by the Scottish Executive to work over three years with children and young people in care across Scotland to promote a love of reading and stories. The project was carried out in partnership between Scottish Book Trust and NCH Scotland.
Four writers in residence worked with children and young people aged from six to eighteen in residential and foster homes in Fife, Ayrshire, the Western Isles and Edinburgh. The following authors were involved with Reading Rich residencies: Des Dillon, Keith Gray, Teresa Flavin and Vivian French.
