Projects which fulfill Curriculum for Excellence
Literature in Learning readily embraces the principles of Curriculum for Excellence (CfEx), providing rich opportunities for teachers and children alike to explore a wider curriculum and learn together as part of a creative community. Literature in Learning projects have developed the four capacities, offered interdisciplinary opportunities and provided a chance for children and teachers to have a deeper experience of the creative process relating to language, as well as offering a valuable platform for professional development. The Developing Projects and Evaluating Impact areas of the LiL web site offer support and guidance for teachers wanting to develop, monitor and evaluate projects in ways that will contribute to their CPD portfolio.
