From 12th to 16th May Michael Rosen toured around Scotland visiting Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness and entertained almost 3000 children.

From over 1000 entries Michael selected one winner from each city, to read these poems click here.

Michael also wrote an exclusive new poem for the tour. Click the link to have a read!

Michael Rosen is one of the UK's finest poets for children and has been instrumental in opening up children's access to poetry in ordinary language that children actually use. He is the author of many collections of poems for children including Quick, Let's Get Out of Here and Michael Rosen's Book of Very Silly Poems. He was named as the 2007-2009 Children's Laureate this year, in recognition of his substantial contribution to children's literature.
