This Poet in the City initiative, funded by the Poetry Society in London, was a first for Scotland. Literature in Learning helped to evaluate the project.
Poet in the City at Buckie Community High School
The highly successful inaugural residency of the Poet in the City in Scotland took place at Buckie Community High School in June 2006, with poet Liz Niven. Liz has kindly shared her notes on three different approaches to creating poems which she used during the residency.
