Kjartan Poskitt Tour June 2010
In June we took Kjartan Poskitt out on The Scottish Friendly Children's Book Tour around Stirling and Perth & Kinross.
Maths is often seen as dull, boring and useless but not by Kjartan – he dazzled and showed pupils how exciting, useful and entertaining maths can be. As well inspiring the pupils to enjoy Maths, Kjartan introduced pupils to his brand-new book The Murderous Maths of Everything. You can view pictures from the event as well as some pupil feedback below.

Interviews, tricks and even a bit of piano playing on tour with the Murderous Maths author...
Kjartan Poskitt is a Yorkshire-lad born and raised who never anticipated becoming a writer of children’s books but fell into it accidently while working with the creator of the Tellytubbies on a TV script. Kjartan had varied career since graduating with a First in Engineering: stand-up comedian, working in children’s TV, piano player in pubs and warm-up act for TV shows (which he still does). All of which he combines to give you energetic, entertaining and educational events. He has written over 50 titles so far (his first was published in 1989).
