Scottish Children's Book Awards Book Trailer Competition 2015 - Winners and Highly Commended

Our book trailer competition for the 2015 Scottish Children's Book Awards saw some fantastic entries, showcasing the creativity of pupils from all around Scotland as they attempted to capture the characters, setting and atmosphere of the shortlisted books.

The winning trailer was an exemplary effort from Morven Cumming, Ben Reid and Anais Bliault of Elgin Academy, which captured the characters and central dilemmas of Gill Arbuthnott's Dark Spell with some haunting images and clever editing.

We also commended five other trailers for their excellence in at least one key aspect of book trailer creation. Take a look below at the full list:
