Case Study Package: Promoting Scots Language at Fife College

Rosemary Richey, lecturer at Fife College, took part in our Authors Live Champions programme in 2016/17. Rosemary used Matthew Fitt's Scots language Authors Live event as the starting point for a brilliant Scots storytelling project with a group of young adult learners.

Read Rosemary's blog about the project, watch Matthew Fitt's Authors Live broadcast on-demand and take a look at learning resources with lots of cross-curricular activity ideas for exploring Scots in your classroom.

For more Scots resources, you can visit the Scots Language Centre, which is the main provider of information about Scots. The Education section of SLC's web site provides teachers with support and resources for teaching Scots in Early Years, Primary and Secondary.
