About Keith Gray

"If there were more writers like Keith Gray, more teenagers would read." The Herald

Keith started out as a reluctant reader, thinking of books as more of a chore than a pleasure. Luckily this changed during his teenage years and his first book, Creepers, was published when he was just 24. He has now published 12 books for children and teenagers, several of which have won awards both here and abroad. He regularly visits schools across the UK talking about how he discovered a love of books and sharing his enthusiasm for reading and writing. The Fearful, one of his most recent books, is available now in paperback. www.keithgray.com

Keith says:

"Scottish Book Trust's Virtual-Writer-In-Residence is a genuinely innovative and exciting new project. Innovative because of the unique way young people will be given access to both modern literature and their own story-telling abilities. And exciting because this kind of project has never been done before."
