Saci Lloyd: The Carbon Diaries 2017
On 1st February we were thrilled to host an event with Saci Lloyd, author of the critically acclaimed Carbon Diaries 2015. Saci was in town to launch the sequel, Carbon Diaries 2017, which is superb - a must read for any teen interested in the future of our planet.
As well as being an author, Saci is head of Media Studies at a sixth form college. She brought along some of the work her students had been doing, all connected to the ideas explored in The Carbon Diaries. The audience engaged Saci in an interesting discussion about the novel and climate change. It was fantastic to see so much interest in the novel's main theme.
Interview with Saci Lloyd
After the event Saci spoke to us about her recent dealings with Johnny Depp. You can watch the video here.
More information about Saci and her work can be found on her website.
