Scottish Book Trust and Scottish Friendly were delighted to announce that we were bringing the Children’s Laureate, Anthony Browne to Fife, Angus, Aberdeenshire and Moray back in May 2010.
To launch The Scottish Friendly Children's Book Tour with Anthony Browne, we held a very special public family event in conjunction with the National Galleries in Edinburgh!
Anthony Browne is an internationally recognised author and illustrator of children’s books, with nearly forty titles to his name including the visually stunning Gorilla (1983) and Voices in the Park (1998). He has been awarded both the Kate Greenaway Medal and the Kurt Maschler Emil Award. In 2000 he became the first British illustrator ever to win the Hans Christian Andersen Award and is the current Children’s Laureate.
For more information about Anthony please visit the Children’s Laureate website.
