William Nicholson Rich and Mad Book Launch April 2010
On 19th April were were thrilled to have award-winning author and screenwriter, William Nicholson, come to Scottish Book Trust to talk about his first venture into teen fiction - Rich and Mad.
Keith Gray, award-winning author and previous Online Writer in Residence chaired the event.
It was a fantastic evening, which stimulated lots of conversation about sex in teen fiction.
The following afternoon William did one of our Big Issue events at Royal High School, Edinburgh. Again this proved another oppotunity to get teens thinking about the portrayals of sexuality and love that they're presented with, and how they fit with their own perceptions.
