Scott Westerfeld Leviathan June 2010
Scott Westerfeld presents Leviathan
We were extreamly lucky to have Scott Westerfeld, author of the bestselling Uglies series, in Edinburgh for a very short visit in June. Over two events Scott introduced pupils from Strathesk Primary and Lasswade Primary School to Leviathan.
Scott splits his time between New York City, USA, and Sydney, Australia, so we feel we are very lucky to get a day with him in Scotland.
For those of you who missed the event check out the trailer for the new book!
Pupil Feedback:
"Thank you for coming to Lasswade primary School. Maybe some day I will be an author too!" Rebecca, age 11, Lasswade Primary School
"Until Scott Westerfeld came to my school I didn't really know how people wrote books so that was a good experience for me and I loved the time he spent with my school." Louise, age 11, Lasswade Primary School
"I really enjoyed the Scott Westerfeld visit. In the future I'm going to use his great tips to help me with my writing. I'd just like to say thank you for coming to our school and you're welcome to come any time." Hannah, age 11, Lasswade Primary School
Teacher Feedback:
"Well organised, good prior communication and very much enjoyed by pupils and staff." Lasswade Primary School
