Christine Stone was born in Upper Coll on the Isle of Lewis but has for many years lived in Castletown. She will read or tell the stories from her latest book, Tales from the Shop and by the Fire. This is a collection of community and family oral tales from the district of Back, on the Isle of Lewis, recorded for posterity because although they have been passed on from generation to generation there is a worry that they could now be lost.
