Poet and gardener living over a bookshop in Callander. Editor of Poetry Scotland. About writer's work:
I write poems of all kinds including performance (won StAnza slam in 2007), and long poems (see list of books). I've also done translations from Gaelic, and various magazine articles over the years for other journals.About writer's events and projects:
Readings, workshops, discussions and talks offered. In 2008 I read at StAnza. I host the annual Callander Poetry Weekend with readings and discussion sessions. I have occasionally judged poetry competitions. I have also read for the Poetry Association of Scotland, Ledbury Festival, and at Morden Tower, Newcastle, and many other locations. I like advanced themes, poetry for poets, or group workshops of members' work, including performance, Scots language work, and all forms of poetry, from the epic to the haiku. Language:
