Walker BooksBiography:
Born and raised in Scotland I studied at Grays school of Art in Aberdeen. After graduating I lived and worked as a photographers assistant in Dubai and then New York where i really learned the ropes. Several years later I moved to Sydney and then onto London.
Here I applied my quirky style to editorial and commercial projects whilst
developing my own private portrait business, working on fine art projects and
illustrating my first childrens book “Wild Child” in collaboration with Jeanne Willisfor Walker Books).About writer's work:
My work fuses together my love for photography, illustration
and childrens stories. I use my many scribbled sketchbooks, digital camera and
post-production techniques to bring my ideas to life. These ideas are usually
inspired by childhood imaginings, classic childrens tales and dramatic
landscapes. I have worked for publications such as Junior, Collezioni Bambini
and Studio Bambini as well as Harrods and several exclusive childrens
boutiques. I have just illustrated my first childrens book “Wild Child” written by
Jeanne Willis- this is a dream come true for me and I hope I can work on many
