About writer's work:
My poems are all about people. I am particularly interested in observations of real life, often beginning with a very small detail or incident and working outwards. The big and the small become one, and what seems insignificant can take on great significance when isolated and magnified. The ordinary becomes extraordinary, personal feelings become Universal. I work in free verse, which I find gives my voice discipline and focus. My poetry has a very distinct, controlled rhythm, which is especially apparent during a reading. About writer's events and projects:
I am available to do readings, with reasonable notice, and answer any questions on my work.
