I am a poet and musician.
About writer's work:
I have received two SAC bursaries, one in 1999 to develop poetry, and one in 2007 to complete work on a Scots translation of Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment. I write occaisional non-fiction, principally on Scottish literary topics, and have set work for theatrical performance. I write and perform original songs and settings. Also perform covers and traditional material. I play acoustic guitar.

Reader and musician. Any literary/musical gigs or events considered. Also enjoy reading works of other poets, including works from the Scots canon. Can consider occasional interactive workshops.
