Chris Mould Tour of Argyll & Bute
The Scottish Friendly Children’s Book Tour, run by the Scottish Book Trust, took the wonderful Chris Mould around 8 schools in Argyll & Bute, including schools in large towns such as Helensburgh and Oban as well as small rural schools such as Kilchrenan and Achahoish, during October.
Chris wowed the children with dark and spooky tales from his Something Wickedly Weird series as well as his Dust'n'Bones book, he even showed them his special 76 Pumpkin Lane pop-up. He also showed them his sketchbook and stunning drawings that he left for each school to cherish.
You can now hear Listen Up! with Chris Mould about his tour and his experiences of Argyll & Bute or you want to find out more about Chris and his books , please visit http://www.somethingwickedlyweird.com/.

Yesterday Chris Mould came to visit my school. He told me about art and his books. It was very interesting. My favourite character is Stanley Buggles. Here is a picture of the Pike from the something wickedly weird. |

I really liked his drawing and his books. They were scary and I especially liked the folding out ones. He drew really fast. |

I really liked Chris Mould. His drawing was amazing. I liked the way he started to draw and write his stories. I thought his pop-up book was quite cool especially the big house. |
