The Edinburgh International Book Festival Outreach Programme
Not everybody can make it to Charlotte Square Gardens in Edinburgh, even with subsidised transport. During the festival season, we take some of the children’s authors and illustrators who do an event in the schools programme out on two school visits.
We are very excited by all the authors who have registered interest in participating in this year’s programme – we wish we could have taken them all! Alas, we only had six places.

David will also read exclusive extracts from his new novel Jackdew Summer! (We might be able to give you a sneak preview of Jackdew Summer later in autumn – the book will be published in November – watch this space!)
